Sea Life Carousel
If you want to see some fantastic renditions of sea creatures, head to the Sea Life Carousel at Ocean Park. The 61 carriers are painted in different designs, and the ride will take you past the Grand Aquarium’s aquatic life. The entire family can enjoy the rides on this incredible menagerie.
The rides here range from the smallest to the largest. You can find roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, a play structure, a climbing wall, and a playground. You can also take your kids on a sea lion or dolphin show at the Ocean Theatre.
During the Chinese New Year celebration, you can also get up close to the animals. The CNY Fiesta typically takes place around January or February. In fact, the event features lantern displays, visits from the God of Fortune, and lion and dragon dances. The 2012 CNY Fiesta even featured a 12-meter spinning lantern. In the spirit of the New Year, Ocean Park has taken care to make the carousel even more immersive.
Another of the best places to visit in Ocean Park is the Sea Coaster. You can ride on the escalator without touching the water, and it’s safe for children as long as they are supervised.
